This comes just after new restrictions related to the coronavirus have went into effect across Michigan. The articles of impeachment accuse Gov. Whitmer of exceeding her “constitutional authority” and conducting “corrupt conduct in office” during the time of the pandemic. The three Republican lawmakers who filed this are Reps. President Donald Trump has not yet conceded to the results of the 2020 election. The president has run into multiple problems on Twitter and many of his recent posts are now appearing with a dispute attached to them. Joe Biden’s campaign was forced to cancel numerous events event in Texas after one of his campaign busses was swarmed by a “Trump Train” on the Texas interstate, and now that train of Trump supporters faces investigation by the FBI, as reported. Walmart is pulling all guns and ammunition from their shelves in preparation of potential civil unrest that could happen as a result of the 2020 election. Good news running strong for the United States economy. The US GDP came in strong at 33.1% for the third quarter, beating Dow Jones expectations who estimated only 32%. This is fresh off the worst quarter the United States economy has had, perhaps in history, and shows the economy is growing at an accelerated pace despite the unexpected pandemic. Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff has officially stated he would be in favor of doing away with the Electoral College system. Schiff was speaking with Bill Maher, late night television host on HBO, about the issues at hand. One of the things that Schiff stated, specifically, was regarding possible constitutional changes. Democrat mayor of Rochester, NY, Lovely Warren, faces two class E felonies after she was indicted by a grand jury for campaign finance violations stemming from her re-election campaign in 2017, as announced by Sandra Doorley, the Monroe County District Attorney. Warren has not yet been arrested, but will be processed according to the DA. Warren faced an investigation that took several years and she is accused of violating election law 14-126(6) and a scheme to defraud in the first degree. California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom has signed off on legislation designed to create a task force for which to study slavery and make possible proposals on reparations. This creates a task force of nine members who will conduct research and try to discover ways to provide reparations for African Americans. President Donald Trump’s team is now requesting a new rule be added to the first presidential debate between himself and Democrat candidate Joe Biden. The new rule request is to have a third party inspect each candidate’s ears for any electronic devices. Joe Biden’s campaign is rejecting the rule request. Trump’s campaign wants to make sure that Joe Biden does not have any sort of electronic device in his ears in which someone could be telling him something to say. The FBI is investigating an incident where numerous mail-in ballots were thrown in the trash in a Pennsylvania county, says a county official. ABC News reported this as a small amount of mail-in ballots that were thrown in the trash by a temporary contractor and it’s being chalked up as an “administrative error.” The number of ballots found was just nine, but still raised concerns and has pending investigations. Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis is proposing a new legislation that protects drivers if they are “fleeing for safety from a mob.” In other words, this would not hold the driver liable in the event that their vehicle has hit a protester if the driver felt they needed to drive away to get to safety. For example, if a driver finds themselves surrounded by protesters who are attacking the vehicle or the passengers, and the driver drives away, hitting a protester in the process, this law will not hold the driver liable for any injuries or worse.
