Vice President Kamala Harris is being accused of disrespecting the United States military after a recent video showed her walking past honor guards without paying them any mind. Harris is now facing backlash for not saluting the military as she approaches and boards Air Force 2. The FBI is under watchful eye after a lawmaker suggested that the 2018 background check on Brett Kavanaugh was fake. It was Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse who is now calling upon Merrick Garland to look into the FBI and their investigation on now Justice Kavanaugh. The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, has suggested that the GOP remains neutral in the next presidential election and that she would not encourage anyone, including former President Donald Trump, to run in the 2024 election. The former White House press secretary for former President Donald Trump, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has stated she will run for governor in Arkansas. President Joe Biden made a drastic decision regarding the Keystone Pipeline that found him in hot water, conjuring criticism from unions and Canadian leadership. Shortly after becoming president, Joe Biden had revoked a cross-border presidential permit that was required for workers to complete the Keystone XL pipeline. Thousands of National Guardsmen were asked to vacate the Capitol after being on duty for about two weeks following the incident on January 6. Dianne Feinstein has filed initial paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to seek re-election as a Democratic United States senator in the state of California. West Virginia Democratic Senator, Joe Manchin, is now suggesting that the Senate take into consideration the 14th Amendment and remove both Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley following their objection to the Electoral College vote that secured the 2020 election victory for now President-elect Joe Biden.
