Based on a number of social media posts, MSNBC plans to terminate the low-rated show of Joy Reid this spring. An unidentified source connected to Jon Nicosia, an ex-editor at Mediaite, spread the word about Reid’s loss of her 7 p.m. show, according to Nicosia. The decision, claims the source, has already been taken. Nicosia feels that the situation is similar to one with Chris Cuomo at CNN. Reid has supporters at Comcast, but she is now widely seen as unmanageable. Like Cuomo, the allies have realized that she hasn’t been very honest about the past incidents. Following the report,…
The misdemeanor charge of forcible touching against former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is moving to be dismissed by the Albany County district attorney’s office. “While we found the complainant in this case cooperative and credible, after review of all the available evidence we have concluded that we cannot meet our burden at trial. As such we have notified the court that we are declining to prosecute this matter and requesting the charges filed by the Albany County sheriff be dismissed,” David Soares, a District Attorney said in a statement. The complaint against Cuomo alleged that he placed his hand…
Senator Ted Cruz has a podcast named Verdict with Ted Cruz, where he often discusses the political situation in the U.S. This time, Cruz spoke about being quite enthusiastic about 2022, implying that he would rate the Republicans’ chances of reclaiming the House at 90/10 or even higher. Senator Ted Cruz believes that Republicans will take control of the House of Representatives in the approaching midterm elections and that President Joe Biden will be impeached in 2023. Cruz also said that if the Republicans win the House next year, the president may face impeachment because he and his administration will…
Former president of the U.S., Donald Trump, has canceled a planned press conference that was supposed to take place on January 6. The date will mark the one-year anniversary of the incident at the U.S. Capitol. A number of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol almost a year ago, causing an incident over lawmakers validating Biden’s electoral victory. The media described the incident as one of the worst attacks on the U.S. Capitol in centuries. Trump blamed the House select committee for the cancellation. Since the planned news conference was canceled, Trump announced that he would have a press conference…
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has reported that Gabriel Mata, 27, is the man responsible for stabbing a K-9 dog several times while he was trying to evade police. Cops were called to a location in Fresno County on Sunday in attempt to arrest a suspect wanted for several violent felonies that included weapons charges and domestic abuse. The suspect took off running and the K-9 dog went after him. The dog caught up to him, took him down, and then was stabbed multiple times by the suspect. The police officers then shot the man, but the report says they’re…
Harsh winter weather has seriously affected Joe Biden’s return to the White House after spending the holidays in Delaware. Workers at the Delaware Airport and those in Maryland where the President’s plane had to land needed to get the snow out of the runways. The stairs that are used to get out of the plane were also stuck in the snow, so Biden and his staff couldn’t get out for around 30 minutes. This wasn’t the end of his troubles. Biden’s motorcade had to crawl through the streets that were covered in snow. Because of the rough weather, Biden was…
Biden’s government accused the corporations of supporting anti-competitive activities among meatpacking industries just a few months ago and stated the behavior resulted in price rise of chicken and meat products. On Monday, President Joe Biden will reveal a new plan aimed at a small number of meatpacking companies that control the majority of the country’s meat supply. Biden will have a virtual conference with ranchers and farmers, as well as with Attorney General Merrick Garland and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, to reveal a strategy to tackle rising costs. The plan’s goal is to enhance competition across the business while also…
Less than a day after Twitter banned her personal account, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said that she has been also temporarily blocked from posting on her Facebook account by the social network. “Facebook has joined Twitter in censoring me. This is beyond censorship of speech,” Greene wrote on Gettr, a social media platform favored by some right-wing conservatives. She posted a screenshot that shows that she would be prohibited from posting or commenting from her Facebook account for a period of 24 hours for violating the platform’s policy against misinformation, a characterization she disputed. “Who appointed Twitter and Facebook to…
Former President Trump’s eldest son and daughter have refused to comply with subpoenas issued by the New York State Attorney’s Office while conducting a civil investigation into the way the family real estate business assessed its ownership. “A dispute has arisen between the OAG and the Individual Trump Parties regarding the Subpoenas,” according to a filed document. A jointly filed document by New York Attorney General Letitia James and an attorney for the Trump Organization, says that Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump will be named as respondents in James’ ongoing inquiry, which parallels a criminal investigation by the Manhattan…
Law and Crime states that there is a secret settlement deal signed by Virginia Giuffre and Epstein. It has been kept secret and protected by a court order since 2009. Federal judges ruled on Wednesday that the settlement agreement involving Jeffrey Epstein be made public. Prince Andrew stated that the agreement bars any civil lawsuit, and Alan Dershowitz shares his opinion. Andrew is accused of s-xually assaulting Guiffre three times, including once in Epstein’s New York City mansion, according to Guiffre’s lawsuit. Andrew claims to have nothing to do with the allegations. The matter will be heard in federal court…
Charges against two Bureau of Prisons guards who admitted to falsifying records on the night Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 have been moved to dismiss by Federal prosecutors in New York. These two guards, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas were on duty when Epstein died at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, after which they entered into deferred prosecution agreements with Manhattan prosecutors in May. According to a letter from federal prosecutors that was filed in court papers, the two guards agreed to provide “truthful information related to their employment by the Bureau of Prisons, including about…
J.K. Rowling is well-known worldwide for her best-selling book “Harry Potter.” However, in recent years, she has ignited international debate by openly asserting that biological s-x exists and that it is essential. For years, the author has refused to embrace a pro-transgender ideology, and more lately, she has opposed Scotland’s new law enforcement policy that allows accused rapists to self-identify as female. She made fun of the law on social media, thus becoming the target of so-called “cancel” campaigns. Rowling came close to winning the “Person of the Year” title despite the controversy after people in the United Kingdom voted…
It looks like we will have something positive to remember about 2021 after all. Scientists have proved that drinking coffee regularly has unquestionable health benefits. There have been some signs that this amazing drink was highly beneficial earlier, but it has finally been proved to be a fact. One meta-analysis study that included 127 people found that drinking two to four 8-ounce cups of coffee daily reduced the risk of cancer by 20%, Parkinson’s by 30%, and type 2 diabetes by 30%. Furthermore, according to a large study conducted in the United Kingdom, people who consume a lot of coffee…
Joe Biden has been criticized for delivering confusing messages about wearing masks on multiple occasions. For example, he was caught shopping at Murray’s Toggery Shop on the island of Nantucket without a mask on his face, although the sight on the shop’s door clearly said that masks were required. Biden was also spotted conversing with members of the public without a mask on another occasion. Things changed when he decided to take part in a selfie photo-op, at which point he grabbed one. He was also last spotted coughing into his hand without a mask and shaking hands with supporters…
Virginia Giuffre was one of the first to voice concerns over Epstein, revealing everything about the s-xual abuse that took place when she was 17. She filed a lawsuit in August, alleging that Prince Andrew s-xually abused her at Epstein’s home. Ghislaine Maxwell enticed her into the ring at the age of sixteen, breaking her defenses with deception and promises to train her to become a massage therapist. According to Epstein’s accuser, Maxwell was even nastier than the late millionaire. Despite the fact that Virginia Giuffre did not testify at Maxwell’s trial, she expressed relief that the jury found her…
President Joe Biden has signed the fiscal 2022 National Defense Authorization Act into law on Monday. The new law states that members of the military cannot be dishonorably discharged from the Army for refusing to get the COVID 19 vaccine. The options for discharge are to make it honorable or general but under honorable conditions. The Marine Corps revealed on Thursday that additional troops had been discharged for refusing to take the Covid-19 vaccine. The overall number of discharges increased to 206 this week, up from 169 the week before. Overall, 95% of active-duty Marines have gotten the very first…
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advised all Americans to avoid cruise traveling at all costs. The warning is also relevant for those who had already received COVID-19 immunizations. The CDC raised the COVID-19 Travel Health Notice from Risk 3 to Level 4. Every traveler…
According to the Census Bureau’s Vintage 2021 Population Estimates, the U.S. population increased by only 0.1 percent, which is the slowest rate since the country’s founding. The agency issued a statement where it claimed that the population of the U.S. has grown by less than one million people for the first time since 1937. The Census Bureau started their annual population estimates in 1900, and the current numbers mark the lowest numeric growth since then. Apart from the previous few years, when population growth plummeted to historically low levels, the slowest pace of increase in the twentieth century happened between…
Lawyers for the Department of Justice requested that the Supreme Court examined a matter involving the “Remain in Mexico” program. Many asylum seekers are forced to stay in Mexico while their applications are being heard. The Biden administration terminated it, but a judge ordered it to be restarted over the summer. According to the judge, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas failed to weigh the program’s positives, which included discouraging some would-be illegal immigrants from entering the country. Mayorkas issued a new memorandum in October, trying to end the program one more time. The appeals court supported the judge’s ruling, stating…
After multiple incidents in the last year in which members of Congress and their family members have been accused of profiting from stock trades using nonpublic information collected in the course of their duties, stock trading has been a topic of public debate. Members of Congress are required by law to file reports in case they or their spouses sell or buy stocks worth more than $1,000 within 45 days. The report has to include a rough estimate of the transaction’s worth. Nancy Pelosi’s spouse appears to be benefiting from the continued climb in share prices of some of America’s…
