Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer faces a major challenge after three Republican lawmakers introduced articles of impeachment against her. This comes just after new restrictions related to the coronavirus have went into effect across Michigan. The articles of impeachment accuse Gov. The president has run into multiple problems on Twitter and many of his recent posts are now appearing with a dispute attached to them. Good news running strong for the United States economy. The US GDP came in strong at 33.1% for the third quarter, beating Dow Jones expectations who estimated only 32%. This is fresh off the worst quarter the United States economy has had, perhaps in history, and shows the economy is growing at an accelerated pace despite the unexpected pandemic. Democrat mayor of Rochester, NY, Lovely Warren, faces two class E felonies after she was indicted by a grand jury for campaign finance violations stemming from her re-election campaign in 2017, as announced by Sandra Doorley, the Monroe County District Attorney. California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom has signed off on legislation designed to create a task force for which to study slavery and make possible proposals on reparations. The FBI is investigating an incident where numerous mail-in ballots were thrown in the trash in a Pennsylvania county, says a county official. ABC News reported this as a small amount of mail-in ballots that were thrown in the trash by a temporary contractor and it’s being chalked up as an “administrative error.” The number of ballots found was just nine, but still raised concerns and has pending investigations. Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis is proposing a new legislation that protects drivers if they are “fleeing for safety from a mob.” In other words, this would not hold the driver liable in the event that their vehicle has hit a protester if the driver felt they needed to drive away to get to safety. The Department of Justice, under approval by United States Attorney General Bill Barr, has labeled three major cities as “anarchist jurisdictions” and will now decide if those three cities will lose federal funding. The cities in question are New York City, New York;  Seattle, Washington; and Portland, Oregon.
