Fox10Phoenix reported: "Police say an Austin attorney was caught on camera pulling out a gun and trying to shoot his ex-girlfriend while she was at work on Saturday, Nov. 26. "It's an attempt to regain control when a victim is trying to leave," said Nikhita Ved, vice president of community services at The SAFE Alliance. Police say Gavin Rush's ex-girlfriend, a bartender, had been trying to do just that – leave. Their three-year relationship ended about a month and a half before the shooting."

Seems like not enough people are talking about the two heroes who stepped in to stop this man from potentially shooting someone.

UPDATE: The Blaze reports the ex-boyfriend was found dead days later. "The Austin Police Department told Fox News Digital that officers found Gavin Rush's body around 4:25 p.m. Wednesday during a welfare check. A police spokesperson didn't say how Rush died, the cable outlet reported — but the department noted that the "death is not considered suspicious" and that law enforcement will continue investigating."
