Cause of death revealed for pro-Trump influencer Diamond of ‘Diamond And Silk’

The cause of death for pro-Donald Trump influencer Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway has been revealed.

According to reports on Tuesday, Hardaway died from prolonged heart disease that was antagonized by chronic high blood pressure. She was 51.

She was one-half of the pro-Trump conservative duo Diamond and Silk. The Associated Press confirmed her cause of death earlier.

“Despite speculation on the internet that “Diamond” died from COVID, a death certificate obtained by The Associated Press on Monday confirmed she died of heart disease brought on by chronic high blood pressure,” the Daily Wire reported.

“Her sister, Rochelle Richardson, a.k.a. Silk, recently shared that she and her husband were with Diamond when the influencer said, ‘I can’t breath’ before collapsing to the floor, People magazine noted,” the report continued.

Former President Donald Trump posted a statement about her on Truth Social, saying: “Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina. Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!”

The Deadline website gathered some comments from political figures who Tweeted messages of condolences and other things regarding the passing of Diamond.

Matt Gaetz said, “Very sad news.”

Tudor Dixon tweeted, “My heart breaks upon hearing of the tragic loss of our friend Diamond. Her personality was bigger than life with an infectious faith that undoubtedly led thousands to Christ. Her love for this country was strong and true. Rest in Peace beautiful lady. Prayers for Silk & family.”
