A CNN poll by SSRS on February 25, 2026, revealed strong viewer support for President Trump’s State of the Union address the previous night, with 64% believing his policies would steer the U.S. in the right direction, up from 54% before the speech, a major improvement and one that speaks to the generally popular and positive message the president promulgated at the State of the Union event.
