Scott Jennings is the one media figure on CNN who’s keeping their ratings from completely tanking. This video clip of Scott Jennings shows him making suggestions on what Mexico should do regarding Donald Trump taking the White House in January. However, Scott’s suggestions didn’t sit well with some others and there was a little bit of a Democrat meltdown about to happen.
Western Lensman posted about Scott Jennings on X, quoting CNN’s best asset: “Scott Jennings demands Mexico get in line to stop flow of illegal immigration and fentanyl into the US — as hostile CNN panel mounts rabid defense of Mexico, Biden and the failed “bi-partisan” border bill. “I’ll tell you what Mexico needs to do. They need to stop the people and they need to stop the drugs. They have been a terrible neighbor. You know, Donald Trump needs to get their attention, and I think he has done that.” **Democrats triggered into pandemonium**”
President-elect Donald Trump threatened to impose tariffs on Mexico until they get their illegal immigrants and drugs under control at the border. But now reports are saying he had a good phone call with the president of Mexico and they seem to be on the same page moving forward.
Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum stated that she and Donald Trump will keep a good relationship and it seems like that could help ease some tensions, or possibly prevent tariffs. However, Sheinbaum previously stated that Trump would face a retaliation if he imposed tariffs on Mexico.
Reuters provided more on the conversation between Donald Trump and Claudia Sheinbaum:
“It was a good conversation and we are going to keep having conversations,” Sheinbaum told a morning press conference, in which she said the two had not directly discussed tariffs but talked about the reasons Trump gave for potentially implementing them – illegal migration and fentanyl trafficking. “It was a very friendly conversation,” Sheinbaum added. “We agreed there would be a good relationship.”
