Scott Jennings has been saving CNN for quite a while and he just did it again with another epic moment on TV. Jennings found a way to turn the pardon of Hunter Biden against the Democratic Party.
President Joe Biden pardoned son Hunter Biden, despite saying he wouldn’t do it. Most people didn’t fall for the lies, as any dad in office would likely pardon their son. To think otherwise is just silly. Obviously Joe Biden was lying and so was everyone who went along with the story. It was just to get people off their back.
Even though Hunter Biden’s crimes might have been felonious, they weren’t violent, and his dad pardoned him as most dad’s would do. Most dads just wouldn’t lie about it. Scott Jennings found a way to turn this all against the Democrats.
The Real Mac Report shared the video on X and pointed out the best part of Scott Jenning’s viral moment:
Scott Jennings: “Never again do I want to hear:
Donald Trump is a liar, you can’t believe anything he says.
Donald Trump will abuse his power.
Donald Trump will only use the system to benefit himself and his family.Never Again !!!”

It’s fascinating to observe the nuances of political maneuvering within the context of this situation. While Scott Jennings’s ability to spin narratives is renowned, it’s important to analyze the ethical considerations behind a decision like a presidential pardon in this context. The implications for the Democratic Party could be significant, but there needs to be a deeper discussion about the precedent it sets for future administrations.
Interesting point, Eve. Seems like everything in politics is about the long game and optics, not just right or wrong. Wonder how this will play out in the next election cycle.
so scott jennings is like the mariano rivera of cnn, coming in for the save. too bad politics ain’t baseball, but hey, you gotta admit it makes for some interesting tv moments. popcorn time, anyone?
Ah, the theater of politics never fails to disappoint. Scott Jennings spins gold out of straw yet again, and all the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put common sense back together again. It’s almost poetic, if it wasn’t so tragically predictable.
Indeed, Patrick. The narrative construction here is noteworthy. Whether one agrees with the spin or not, it’s an effective use of media strategy. The broader implications for political communication are worth considering.
