(Crankers) Candace Owens admits not being invited to speak at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service, despite them being longtime friends. She claims they were still on good terms, despite what any rumors might have suggested.
However, she did go into some conspiracy theories about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting that he had something to do with Charlie’s assassination. Owens then suggested that her lack of invite was an attempt to silence her. However, she does a podcast, so she can say anything she likes on there and she won’t be silenced.
Candace Owens was quoted saying: “Like I said, the reason that they are doing this is because they want us to stop investigating the death of Charlie Kirk. I am convinced that this is a full-blown fed operation.”
She continued, “No, actually, I didn’t attend a vigil and nope, you’re right, you got me. I was not invited to speak alongside President Trump and JD Vance on the stage with Tucker Carlson at a memorial event…what does this have to do with anything?”
She kept going, “The answer is nothing. They are working on a narrative, like they always do. They are squeezing, and they are trying to pretend that Charlie and I didn’t speak for years. It could not be further from the truth, OK? Charlie and I never for a single second stopped being friends.”
Even if Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens were still technically friends, does that mean they communicated recently or much at all? Eric Bolling suggested that she went “a little bit too down the rabbit holes” and became way too extreme for Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA, and that the friendship might have dwindled a bit as they sought separation from her extremism.
DeRay Mckesson said “Candace Owens is rage bait and always has been. She’s pandering to the left for attention, not because she’s trustworthy or because her views have actively changed.”
