(Crankers) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned Republicans who were threatening to arrest Democratic lawmakers who broke laws while causing problems at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Newark, New Jersey.
AOC said: “They’re using public intimidation because they know that they cannot come for us all,” then claimed Trump officials were in the wrong. However, AOC is incorrect because Trump’s officials were not breaking the law or causing problems.
AOC continued: “If anyone is breaking the law in this situation, it’s not members of Congress, it’s the Department of Homeland Security… It’s people like Tom Homan and Secretary Kristi Noem… You lay a finger on Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman or any of the Representatives that were there… we’re going to have a problem.”
She was unable to state which laws Homan and Noem have broken, because they have not broken any laws at this time. AOC appears to be encouraging fellow Democrats to continue causing problems with ICE or at ICE facilities, where they are deporting migrants who broke the law by entering American illegally.
