He promised it. Now he’s delivering it.

President Trump has taken a sledgehammer to one of the most controversial federal agencies in Washington — the Department of Education — in a dramatic move that has his supporters cheering and the left absolutely furious.

The Education Department announced it is downsizing massively, shifting several of its own divisions to other federal agencies. It’s the biggest shakeup the bloated bureaucracy has seen since it was created — and it’s exactly what Trump vowed on the campaign trail.

Trump’s handpicked Education Secretary Linda McMahon took the job knowing full well what was coming. The plan was never to run the department normally. The mission was to gut it — to “move education back to the states where it belongs.” And McMahon has been, by all accounts, fully on board from day one.

As originally reported<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g>, the White House has made no secret of why Trump wants the department dismantled — because by every measurable standard, it has failed American children spectacularly.

The numbers are brutal. The White House put it bluntly: “The U.S. Department of Education has spent more than $3 trillion on the federal education bureaucracy since 1980 — with dismal results.” Three trillion dollars. And American primary education still lags far behind the rest of the industrialized world.

The verdict? The agency simply doesn’t work.

But here’s the catch. Trump cannot completely eliminate the department on his own. That requires an act of Congress. And with Democrats digging in — they rely on the Education Department to push mandatory left-wing policies through America’s schools — a full legislative kill shot isn’t happening anytime soon.

So Trump is doing the next best thing.

He’s stripping the department down to its bones. Hollowing it out. Turning it into a shell of what it once was, division by division, function by function.

McMahon made the administration’s position crystal clear in a statement. “The Trump Administration has been clear: as we scale back federal micromanagement when it hinders success, we are equally committed to bolstering the efficacy of federal oversight where it is essential,” she said.

It’s a calculated dismantling — not a wrecking ball, but a surgical saw.

And it fits perfectly into the broader pattern of Trump’s presidency so far. Border security — check. Energy expansion — check. Ripping “woke” ideology out of federal institutions — check. Now add education bureaucracy demolition to the list.

The promises are stacking up. The results are coming in.

Whether you love it or hate it, one thing is undeniable — Donald Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do.

Seattle’s new mayor is hiding the homeless people ahead of the FIFA World Cup. She’s using an approach to transitional housing as the first new shelter units under Mayor Katie Wilson’s administration opened in the Interbay neighborhood. This initiative marks a foundational step towards the mayor’s ambitious goal of adding 1,000 new shelter beds within her first year in office.

Except, she only opened 50, failing to meet her own goal of hiding the homeless before the FIFA World Cup begins.

The Bayside Enhanced Shelter, located on W Armory Way, was officially previewed during a ceremony attended by Mayor Wilson and various city and non-profit leaders. Currently, the site features 50 single-adult pallet home units intended to function as 24/7 transitional housing. These units come equipped to provide wraparound services tailored for individuals exiting chronic homelessness.

According to city officials, the total number of shelter units at this site is expected to increase to 75 by the end of the month. The shelter aims to offer additional support to individuals in need, including access to behavioral health services focused on addiction and recovery. However, participation in these services is not mandatory for residents living on-site. Mayor Wilson emphasized the complexities of the recovery process, indicating that residents will not be required to abstain from substances as a condition for their stay.

Partnerships and Operational Details

The operational responsibilities for the Bayside Enhanced Shelter have been assigned to the non-profit organization Everyone Deserves Housing. The housing units were constructed by Pallet Shelter, a company based in Everett, Washington. The facility is set to officially open for occupancy on the upcoming Tuesday, with outreach teams preparing to identify homeless individuals throughout the city for potential relocation to this new facility.

Support from Local Leaders

City Councilmember Dan Strauss expressed his endorsement for the new shelter site, highlighting its potential to assist individuals who may struggle with the city’s existing shelter options. He noted that while progress has been made in providing solutions for people without complex needs, there is a significant demand for more specialized shelters like the Bayside Enhanced Shelter.

Despite the positive steps being taken with the opening of these new units, Mayor Wilson has acknowledged the challenges ahead. Her initial goal was to establish 500 additional shelter units before the FIFA World Cup<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g>, but she has indicated that this target will not be met. The mayor pointed out that as long as there are thousands of individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness, her administration will continue to face significant challenges.

Future Goals for Shelter Expansion

Looking ahead, Mayor Wilson now anticipates that up to 300 new shelter units could be added throughout Seattle by the end of the summer. Several additional locations, including Brighton Village, Cloverleaf Village, Glassyard Commons, and Capitol Hill Village, have been identified for upcoming openings.

The exact duration that residents may stay in the newly opened Interbay shelter remains uncertain at this time. In an effort to foster community support, Mayor Wilson has confirmed that public outreach has been conducted with local residents and business owners prior to the shelter’s opening. Additionally, plans are underway for developing a public safety strategy pertinent to the shelter site.

The opening of the Bayside Enhanced Shelter represents a significant development in Seattle’s approach to addressing homelessness. As the city endeavors to expand its shelter capacity in the coming months, ongoing efforts will be made to ensure that support is available for those in need.

But no matter what she does, the people who doubt the socialist mayor have one question: would she be doing this if it wasn’t for the World Cup?

California is currently embroiled in a legal battle with the federal government as the Trump administration seeks to investigate the state’s voter rolls. This situation arises amidst rising scrutiny regarding California’s election practices and growing concerns about potential voter fraud.

Bill Essayli, the lead federal prosecutor in Los Angeles, has publicly stated his office’s intent to examine California’s electoral system. These actions have been prompted by issues surrounding late-arriving ballots that reportedly favor Democratic candidates. Enhanced focus on this subject followed the recent Los Angeles mayoral primary, where Democrat Nithya Raman was initially projected to lose. Election night results portrayed her in third place, provoking significant emotions. However, as subsequent ballots were tallied in the days that followed, Raman experienced a surprising surge into second place, earning her a spot in the runoff. Critics have since raised questions about this unexpected outcome, calling for increased transparency within California’s voting process.

Concerns Over Voter Registration Practices

Essayli has expressed concerns regarding California’s voter registration policies, stating that first-time voters can register using forms of identification that might surprise many Americans. These include health club membership cards, employee IDs, and even prescription drug labels. Such documentation is permissible under California regulations in instances where a prospective voter does not have a driver’s license number or Social Security number during registration. Essayli argues that this practice merits closer examination.

He contends, “If California genuinely wants voters to trust its elections, it should open its records, not fight to keep them closed.” He called into question the state’s efforts to maintain accurate voter rolls, particularly addressing the removal of deceased individuals, people who have relocated out of state, and those convicted of crimes that would disqualify them from voting.

Ballot Harvesting and Federal Action

Additionally, Essayli highlighted the state’s policies around ballot harvesting, a practice allowing third parties to collect and submit ballots on behalf of voters. He notes that the minimal regulation of this activity complicates the tracking of who received, completed, and submitted each ballot.

The federal government’s interest in California’s voter registration database has persisted for over a year, focusing on the state’s adherence to federal election laws designed to prevent voter fraud and ensure accurate voting records. Essayli shared correspondence from the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division addressed to California Secretary of State Shirley Weber. This letter requested access to the state’s voter registration list to assess compliance with federal maintenance requirements.

Legal Proceedings and Ongoing Disputes

The Department of Justice (DOJ) maintains that federal law permits the attorney general to access election records<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g> and undertake an independent review of voter registration systems. Within this correspondence, DOJ representatives stated, “California cannot limit the Justice Department’s access to mere inspection of the requested voter registration records.” They assert entitlement to a complete copy of these records as maintained by the state.

Moreover, federal officials requested records of all voter registration applications submitted between December 1, 2023, and July 1, 2025. They argue that federal election laws supersede California’s privacy concerns, which the state cites as a basis for its refusal to provide the requested documents.

As this matter escalates, it has reached the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. California law typically mandates that voters provide either a driver’s license number, state ID number, or the last four digits of their Social Security number during the registration process. For those lacking these forms of identification, state election officials can assign a unique identifying number. Furthermore, California regulations enumerate acceptable documents for verifying identity for first-time federal election voters, in accordance with the Help America Vote Act.

The ongoing legal tensions underscore a significant moment in California’s electoral landscape, as concerns over voter integrity and transparency continue to shape discussions around the state’s election system.

Minneapolis, Minnesota, has found itself at the center of serious allegations regarding fraud in state-run programs. The recent report by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has brought to light troubling information about Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison’s awareness of widespread fraud yet their lack of action to address it. This ongoing issue raises significant questions about accountability within the state’s leadership.

The report, released on Monday, details how Walz and Ellison were reportedly informed of systemic fraud within various social services programs, including the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of Education (MDE), as early as 2019. Particularly concerning is the Feeding Our Future scandal, in which a Minnesota-based nonprofit took advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to defraud the federal government out of millions, claiming funds were used to provide meals to children and needy individuals.

Despite clear warnings regarding fraud execution, the report affirms that officials in Walz’s administration failed to take necessary measures to halt the fraudulent activities. Furthermore, the oversight committee has pointed to significant losses, including $9 billion in Medicaid funds, with an additional $300 million linked to federal child nutrition programs at considerable risk.

Concerns over Political Influence and Whistleblower Treatment

The Oversight Committee’s findings suggest that fear of political repercussions hindered action against fraudulent entities such as Feeding Our Future. The report indicates that Walz’s administration was more concerned with media narratives surrounding the fraud than instituting substantial solutions. Allegations of racism were reportedly used to silence scrutiny of the programs in question, as state workers faced pushback when attempting to investigate fraud claims.

Moreover, whistleblowers within the Minnesota Department of Education expressed experiencing significant pressure to discontinue their investigations into the fraud activities. Investigators uncovered accounts of employees being warned against speaking up about fraud for fear of being labeled racist, which could damage the administration’s reputation. Some employees reported direct retaliation by being excluded from meetings discussing issues they identified.

The Disconnect Between Awareness and Action

Despite having knowledge of the fraud and its implications, both Walz and Ellison, as key figures<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

With a significant institutional failure are compounded by public allegations that the fraud mainly affects marginalized communities within Minneapolis, notably the city’s substantial Somali population. This highlights an unsettling narrative surrounding failed welfare programs and resource mismanagement during a public health crisis.

Future Implications for Minnesota Leadership

The findings detailed in the House Oversight Report not only shine a light on the integrity of Minnesota’s public services but also pose critical questions regarding the future of Walz’s leadership role. Given the severity of the allegations and the rising pressure from various stakeholders, the political consequences are significant. As of now, there is speculation regarding Walz’s future electoral ambitions, with some sources indicating that the scandal may compel him to withdraw his reelection bid.

As these issues unfold, the potential for legal repercussions remains uncertain. The revelations from this report mark a crucial point in the ongoing fraud investigation and highlight the need for accountability and transparency within government services. The citizens of Minnesota are calling for urgent action to rectify these issues and prevent future occurrences.

Protesters advocating against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) experienced a sudden disruption during a recent demonstration outside a detention facility in Newark, New Jersey. A powerful windstorm swept through the area on June 6, causing significant damage to their encampment, where they had gathered in opposition to ICE activities.

The incident occurred outside Delaney Hall, an ICE detention facility that has seen increasing unrest in recent weeks. On the day of the storm, anti-ICE activists had set up tents and canopies at the site when strong gusts of wind began to affect their demonstration. Video footage captured by journalist Nick Sortor illustrated the chaos as protesters struggled to maintain their setup amidst the turbulent weather.

According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts reached speeds of up to 60 mph during the storm. Local news reported that this weather phenomenon resulted from a cold front moving through northern New Jersey, bringing with it severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and localized flooding. Areas such as Newark and Jersey City experienced significant wind damage, including toppled trees and debris scattered across roads.

At the peak of the storm, over 42,000 residents in New Jersey lost power, with many remaining without electricity into the following day. As the windstorm wreaked havoc, the protesters found themselves facing not only law enforcement but also the elements, which forced them to abandon some of their gear as it was blown away. Mother Nature destroyed the Antifa camp<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

                        </g>.

This unexpected weather event momentarily disrupted the protest, creating a scene where the loudest sound was not the chants of the activists but rather the howling wind. Some commentators noted the irony of the situation, highlighting the difficulties faced by the protesters as they attempted to cling to their tents and equipment.

Return of Protest Activities

Despite the storm’s interference, unrest quickly resumed after the weather improved. That evening, Newark police declared an unlawful assembly as anti-ICE protesters returned to the area near Delaney Hall. The facility has continually attracted activists in opposition to federal immigration enforcement policies, as tensions have escalated surrounding the Trump administration’s strict immigration stance.

The June 6 windstorm introduced an unusual element to the ongoing protests, leading to a chaotic atmosphere at the demonstration site. Even as Mother Nature temporarily thwarted their efforts, activists returned to their advocacy, highlighting the ongoing challenges and conflicts surrounding immigration policy and enforcement in the United States.

As protests continue, the situation remains a focal point for discussions on immigration and civil rights, illustrating the complex dynamics involved in protests against federal policies. With the threat of weather and law enforcement, demonstrators remain determined to voice their concerns regarding immigration enforcement and its impacts.

California Governor Gavin Newsom and state Democrats recently faced an unexpected turn of events in their congressional strategy. Following the approval of a ballot initiative aimed at increasing Democratic representation in the state’s congressional delegation, the results of the recent primary elections have left many wondering about the effectiveness of their plan.

Earlier this year, after states like Texas and Missouri successfully implemented redistricting measures that increased Republican representation, Newsom’s administration sought to counteract this trend. The goal was to expand the Democratic foothold in California’s congressional delegation by applying a similar strategy. However, developments in the recent primaries indicate that the anticipated gains may not materialize.

Primary Results and Implications

In a significant shakeup, Rep. Young Kim has advanced from the primary race in California’s 40th Congressional District, alongside fellow Republican Rep. Ken Calvert. This outcome sets the stage for a Republican-versus-Republican matchup in the upcoming general election scheduled for November. Initially, this district was designated as a potential pickup for Democrats, but the recent voting has dimmed those hopes.

Calvert captured approximately 36 percent of the votes in the primary, while Kim secured about 21 percent. Notably, Democrat candidate Esther Kim-Varet finished third with roughly 16 percent of the vote, which effectively eliminates her from contention under California’s top-two primary system. This system means that only the top two candidates, regardless of party affiliation, move on to the general election.

Impact on Democratic Strategy

Newsom and his supporters<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g> aimed to engineer a scenario in which two Republican incumbents would compete against one another, thereby diminishing their chances of retaining the seat. The ultimate hope was that the weakening of these incumbents would pave the way for a Democratic candidate to secure victory in a historically Republican district. However, the results indicate that their strategic calculations may have backfired.

This outcome not only reflects the challenges facing California Democrats in the current political landscape but also serves as an indicator of broader electoral dynamics that could influence future elections. The perceived loss of a potential Democratic seat adds to the complexity of navigating a highly competitive political environment.

Looking Ahead

As Newsom’s plans unravel, the Democratic Party in California faces a critical juncture in its efforts to expand influence in the congressional arena. With the changing winds of voter sentiment and the resilience of Republican representatives in key districts, it remains to be seen how the party will adapt. This situation may also prompt further discussions about the effectiveness of current strategies and the need for reevaluation as the political landscape evolves.

In conclusion, the recent primary results underscore the unpredictability of electoral politics, particularly in a state as diverse and populous as California. While Democrats had aspirations for growth, the reality of the 40th Congressional District primary serves as a reminder of the challenges that lie ahead in securing seats in Congress.

In a notable financial move, President Donald Trump has invested millions of dollars in Kura Sushi Inc., a prominent global sushi chain that operates seven locations across North Texas. Financial documents from the first quarter of 2026 reveal the specifics of this investment.

Kura Sushi, which originated in Japan, entered the U.S. market in 2009. Since its inception in the U.S., it has grown to become the largest conveyor belt sushi chain in the nation. The brand is known for its unique dining experience, which includes sushi served via conveyor belts and an innovative approach to food delivery.

The locations of Kura Sushi in North Texas are strategically placed in several cities, including Carrollton, Denton, Euless, Fort Worth, Frisco, McKinney, and Plano. Furthermore, plans are underway for a new location valued at $1.5 million in the Arlington Highlands, as indicated by state licensing documents.

This investment decision has attracted attention due to Trump’s prior remarks regarding sushi; during a visit to Japan in 1990, he famously stated, “I’m not going to eat any [expletive] raw fish.”

The investment has sparked interest in the financial markets, with Kura Sushi’s stock witnessing an increase of more than five percent following the announcement of Trump’s investment. Specifically, on February 2, he made an investment valued between $1 million and $5 million. This has led to discussions among financial analysts concerning the potential implications of this move.

Management and Investment Strategy

Despite the significant figures involved, a spokesperson for the Trump administration has clarified<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g> that Trump’s investments are handled through fully discretionary accounts. These accounts are independently managed by third-party financial institutions, which have exclusive authority over investment decisions.

The documentation indicates this investment was classified as “solicited,” suggesting that the recommendation to invest in Kura Sushi came from a financial advisor rather than being a spontaneous decision by Trump.

Speculation and Reactions

There has also been speculation on social media platforms, particularly among users on X, suggesting that the Trump team may have intended to invest in a different company altogether—Fujikura, a Tokyo-based electrical equipment manufacturer, rather than Kura Sushi Inc. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this theory.

As Kura Sushi continues to expand its footprint in the competitive restaurant landscape of North Texas, President Trump’s investment highlights the intersection of politics, finance, and food culture. Industry observers and investors alike will be watching closely to see how this investment impacts both Kura Sushi’s growth and Trump’s financial portfolio moving forward.

In conclusion, this investment by President Trump not only signifies strong interest in the sushi restaurant sector but also showcases Kura Sushi’s potential for growth in the U.S. market, particularly in regions like North Texas.

A judge decided that teacher Enoch Burke, who was arrested after rejecting a student’s fake pronouns, won’t be released from jail for Christmas as the case goes on.

Justice Brian Cregan stated that he had no intention of releasing him for Easter and questioned why previous courts had granted Burke temporary freedom during his previous four contempt-related incarcerations. He pointed out that when other convicts are in contempt, they are not treated in the same way. Sounds like Mr. Cregan is an idiot.

Burke was suspended in 2022 and later dismissed after refusing an instruction to address a transgender student by a fake name and they/them pronouns. He argued that the directive violated his constitutional and religious beliefs. He had earlier succeeded in challenging the composition of the first appeals panel.

Federal investigators have detained a man from Virginia in relation to two pipe bombs that were put outside the buildings of the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee the evening before the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

He is anticipated to be charged for allegedly installing the devices, which authorities found to be functional explosives that may kill or seriously injure people.

It remains unclear what evidence investigators gathered that allegedly links him to the planting of the bombs. The arrest comes nearly five years after<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

The discovery of the bombs triggered a major law enforcement response minutes before hundreds of Trump supporters breached barricades at the Capitol as lawmakers met to certify Joe Biden’s election win.

Investigators struggled for years to identify the suspect due to a lack of distinctive traits and issued multiple public appeals for tips. The FBI conducted<use href="#wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path"></use> more than 1,000 interviews, reviewed more than 39,000 video files, and investigated over 600 tips. The bureau also offered a reward of $500,000 for information leading to the suspect’s identification.

The lack of answers fueled conspiracy theories about political motivations and claims of an inside operation. Dan Bongino, now deputy FBI director, said in 2024 that the bombing was a setup, though no evidence has confirmed such claims.

Then Vice President-elect Kamala Harris was within 20 feet of the DNC device when she arrived at the building and stayed inside for nearly an hour before the bomb was found.

In another note, Jake Tapper accidentally suggested the suspect was a white guy. Nah, he’s black.

Due to overdue charges owed to the Westside Condominium Association, Jasmine Crockett’s Dallas residence is subject to a lien. According to property records, the organization filed the claim on April 11, 2024, and stated that Crockett owes $3,047.79 in total.

The complaint claims that despite repeated requests for payment, she allegedly refused to pay it. Until the outstanding balance is paid, the lien prevents the property from being sold or transferred.

Crockett purchased the condominium in 2014. The unit is located in a gated community that advertises “spa-like” amenities, including a clubhouse, a fitness center, and a pool. The Dallas address remains the one listed on her voter registration and in several public filings.

She gets paid $174,000, so she can clearly pay for it. Crockett’s most recent financial disclosure records also list student loan liabilities estimated to fall between $15,001 and $50,000.

The lien surfaces at a time when she is weighing a potential campaign for the U.S. Senate. In a late November interview, Crockett said she had reviewed internal polling that showed a possible route to victory in a statewide race. She has not yet announced an official bid, and the filing deadline for entering the race is December 8.

Hopefully she gets out of politics and goes on MSNBC/MS NOW with the other morons.

Federal Election Commission records indicate her campaign spent roughly $75,000 on airfare, hotels, and other costs in cities such as Las Vegas, New York, and Martha’s Vineyard. The records also show about $50,000 used for private security services. Crockett has said these security expenses were necessary because she received threats while carrying out her duties.

In other words, she’s wasting every single penny she can and offering absolutely nothing to America.

Get this ghetto trash out of our government.

President Trump continues to push his plan to reimburse Americans for tariff dividends in 2026.

Trump claimed the administration anticipates a record tax refund season next year and rejected worries about affordability as a “Democrat scam.”

According to Trump, the United States has collected trillions of dollars through tariffs, and he plans to reduce the national debt and return a portion of that money to the people.

Trump also suggested that tariff revenue could eventually become large enough to replace income taxes. He said the government could eliminate income taxes or reduce them to much lower levels, although he did not outline a specific policy.

But the government projections differ from Trump’s claims. The Congressional Budget Office reduced its estimate of tariff revenue for the next decade from $3.3 trillion to $2.5 trillion. The revised projection would add about $500 billion in federal interest costs, bringing the total projected value of tariff revenue to roughly $3 trillion.

Budget analysts and economists question whether tariff dividend checks are financially realistic. Critics note that tariff revenue is unpredictable and that distributing nationwide refunds could be costly. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates that Trump’s tariff policies will raise about $300 billion per year<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

The US Supreme Court has temporarily permitted President Donald Trump to enforce his ban on transgender individuals serving in the military while ongoing legal challenges proceed.

Trump signed two executive orders enabling the Pentagon to implement the policy. However, a lower federal court blocked the measure, concluding that the administration had not provided sufficient evidence that transgender service members posed a threat to military effectiveness.

In an emergency appeal, the Trump administration contended that the judiciary should defer to the military’s judgment on matters of national defense. The court’s three liberal justices dissented from the decision, which was issued via an unsigned order.

Trump’s executive order stated that identifying as transgender was incompatible with “a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle” and could hinder military preparedness.

In February, the Department of Defense announced plans to discharge transgender<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

The plaintiffs argued that the policy undermines military readiness, jeopardizes safety, and violates the US Constitution.

Trump and Hegseth stand united on the ban.

Trump signed an executive order that says America will recognize two sexes – male and female, and suggested that our country is not playing the silly fake pronoun game.

And honestly, that pronoun stuff needs to end. It’s pathetic brain rot kinda stuff.

Denmark is taking a stand and protecting their identity.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said she wants to extend the 2018 ban on niqabs to schools and universities, as well as remove prayer rooms, citing concerns about social control and oppression. The nationwide ban on burkas and niqabs in public spaces hasn’t applied to educational institutions, but Frederiksen, who leads the Social Democrats, believes this was a mistake and demands limits on religious symbols and rituals in education.

She was quoted saying “you have the right to be a person of faith and practice your religion, but democracy takes precedence.”

In 2022, a government-formed commission suggested banning hijabs in primary schools to ensure that women from minority backgrounds could enjoy the same rights and freedoms as other Danish women. The proposal sparked backlash and protests at the time and was ultimately rejected in 2023.

The Danish Prime Minister argued that such rooms don’t promote inclusiveness but instead “create a breeding ground for discrimination and pressure.” While she isn’t calling for an outright ban, she said Education Minister Mattias Tesfaye and Higher Education Minister Christina Egelund will work with schools and universities to find a common solution and make it clear that prayer rooms don’t belong there<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

Democrat Pramila Jayapal, a Palestinian activist, is taking the side of illegal immigrants with a major announcement of her own.

She wants to reintroduce the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act to repeal mandatory immigration detention, prohibit the detention of families and children, and establish oversight mechanisms to for humane treatment and civil rights protections for detained immigrants.

She said during a speech: “Under the Trump Administration, we have seen a shocking surge in the detention of people who have committed no crimes being locked up in increasingly horrifying conditions… People are being held in squalor, largely in private, for-profit detention facilities, all to pad the bottom lines of prison corporations that donate to Donald Trump and Republicans. As Trump has struck down legal pathways and made it nearly impossible to come to or stay in this country, even for those who have been here for decades, this will only continue to get worse. We must pass this legislation to protect dignity and civil rights in America.” (source<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

Where was Pramila Jayapal when former President Barack Obama was deporting millions of people? Was she this vocal back then, or is it just because Trump is president?

Jayapal was a senator in 2015 while Barry was president, so I’m curious if she spoke up back then too… or is she just doing everything to oppose Trump? Really makes you wonder, doesn’t it.

President Donald Trump called for a crackdown on immigrants from Somalia and even suggested that Democrat Ilhan Omar be deported too! Trump said Ilhan Omar should be “thrown the hell out” of America.

Trump made a lot of remarks about the Somali immigrants who come to America and do nothing for the country, but complain about things, break the law, and do nothing positive. Trump said he wants to crack down on people coming to America and doing literally nothing to make it any better, but instead – making it worse.

Someone mentioned the Democrat Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, who said he was proud of the Somali’s in his city. Frey started his statement in English, then began speaking another language and couldn’t see the irony in what he was doing. He was making it seem like America was converted into a Somalian nation when he did that.

Trump called Mayor Frey a “fool” for his comments. Trump also said: “I wouldn’t be proud. Look how bad their nation is. It’s not even a nation. It’s just people walking around killing each other… And the Somalians should be out of here. They have destroyed our country.”

But wait, there’s more. Trump called out Ilhan Omar directly: “They have a representative, Ilhan Omar, who they say married her brother, that’s a fraud, she tries to deny it now, but you can’t really deny it because, you know, it just happened… She shouldn’t be allowed to be a congresswoman… And I’m sure people are looking at that. And she should be thrown the hell out of our country.”

And while I have your attention, there’s this video of Trump trashing them:

Elizabeth Warren suffered a total meltdown over Donald Trump meeting Zohran Mamdani, the incoming mayor of New York City.

In an appearance with CNN’s “The Lead,” she talked about the political consequences of the conversation that had taken place in the Oval Office between the pair, but it only points out one thing – that Elizabeth Warren and everyone like her IS THE PROBLEM.

Mamdani met with the President. That’s a good thing. That’s how politicians can start working together instead of always against each other.

Warren said the President’s decision to meet with Mamdani is connected to Trump’s struggle to address voter anxieties over the rising cost of living. She thinks Trump recognizes that Mamdani has built significant credibility on issues such as housing, wages, and daily living expenses, which became central themes throughout Mamdani’s campaign.

Except nothing Mamdani wants to do is going to be “free” like he casually says. It will come from the taxpayers.

Warren said to Jake Tapper<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g>: “He has a problem. And Zohran Mamdani is the person who is now associated with fixing that problem… So is it any surprise that Donald Trump wants to stand next to Zohran Mamdani and say, ‘Oh, yeah, we think about things the same way, particularly when it comes to affordability?

The meeting was cordial and cooperative, marking a notable change in tone from the combative exchanges that defined the campaign season. Mamdani, a democratic socialist, ran on a platform titled “The Five Boroughs Against Trump,” positioning himself as a direct political counterweight to the President.

Trump labeled Mamdani a “communist” and warned that he would consider legal action if the mayor-elect followed through on plans to resist federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations.

Warren argued that despite this past, Trump now sees strategic benefit in linking himself to Mamdani’s growing reputation and popularity. She stated, “He’s just trying to take a little of Zohran Mamdani’s shine and see if he can rub a little on Donald Trump.”

Trump did put his foot down, saying Mamdani needs to be aligned with the White House or face consequences.

The Supreme Court weighed in favor of Texas’ new congressional map that was heavily favored by President Donald Trump.

That’s great news for the GOP, but people like Democrat Jasmine Crockett might be up the creek without a paddle. And that’s perfectly fine because it’s not like she does anything anyway. She spends most of her time whining about Trump and Republicans when she’s not busy putting on her horrendously large fake eyelashes.

On Dec. 4, the Supreme Court ruled that Texas can use a congressional map designed to give former President Donald Trump and Republicans an edge in the 2026 midterm elections, a decision that could help the GOP maintain control of the U.S. House.

In a split decision, the court put a hold on a lower court’s finding that the map likely discriminates against racial minorities by weakening the voting power of Hispanic and Black Texans. Except, it’s not about race<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g>, it’s about the GOP taking power. Duh.

This ruling replaces a temporary freeze issued by Justice Samuel Alito on Nov. 21 and keeps the map in place for the midterms while disputes over the boundaries continue. The court said blocking the map so close to the election was inappropriate.

Three liberal judges dissented, but oh well. The ruling is in and maybe we’ll get lucky to see Jasmine Crockett out of politics.

She can go hang out at MS Now with all the other untalented hacks who are hard to look at.

With 86 Democrats joining Republicans, the bill passed 285–98. Present votes were cast by two Democrats. The motion was also backed by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who supported Mamdani just days prior to the election.

Introduced by Rep. Maria Salazar, R-Fla., the resolution lists historical examples of socialist governments and cites failures under regimes such as Fidel Castro in Cuba, Mao Zedong in China, and Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela. The text states that “Congress denounces socialism in all its forms and opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the United States.” The resolution is nonbinding.

The vote comes as socialism has gained increased national attention. Progressive figures<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., have pushed for a larger government role in healthcare, education, and other services. Mamdani, a self-described socialist, has emerged as another prominent advocate. He is scheduled to meet with President Donald Trump on Friday.

Several lawmakers commented on the vote. Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., said socialism conflicts with American principles of freedom and argued it leads to limits on personal liberty and centralized control of resources. He said Congress has a responsibility to defend capitalism and free-market systems against socialism and other forms of authoritarian governance.

Concerns about the party adopting socialist-aligned programs were also voiced by some Democrats who backed the resolution. Democrats have been asked to adopt a more centrist stance by Rep. Tom Suozzi, D-NY, who voted in favor of the bill<use href="#wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path"></use>. In a recent statement, he argued that the party should put less emphasis on populist movements connected to either Donald Trump or Zohran Mamdani and more on sensible measures that address the economy, affordability, and wages.

President Trump halted all asylum decisions after the National Guard shooting left one soldier dead and another in critical condition. Trump is done playing around with people who hate America, so he wants to be sure no more get in.

Suspect Rahmanullah Lakanwal faces first-degree murder and two counts of assault with intent to kill while armed.

Lakanwal is an Afghan national who previously worked with a CIA-backed Afghan Army unit during the Afghanistan War. He entered the United States in 2021 through Operation Allies Welcome and applied for asylum during the Biden administration. His asylum was approved this year under the Trump administration, according to #AfghanEvac.

Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20, died from the shooting, and Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24, remains hospitalized in critical condition. Both served with the West Virginia National Guard<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said additional charges may be filed. President Trump called the attack a “terrorist act” and blamed prior policies that allowed Afghans who worked with U.S. forces to enter the country.

Joseph Edlow, director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, announced that asylum decisions are paused while vetting procedures are reviewed. Secretary of State Marco Rubio separately confirmed a halt on visa issuance for all individuals traveling on Afghan passports.

Lakanwal’s background didn’t indicate anything out of the usual. He lived with his wife and five children, a family man. As described by his neighbors, he was quiet, looking for employment, something he struggled to attain after he worked as an independent contractor for Amazon Flex.

So what happened and where did it all go wrong?

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis might be the equalizer you always wanted, but never knew you needed. DeSantis calls for a special session on congressional redistricting that could balance out the mess made by Gavin Newsom in California.

DeSantis said it relies on a pending U.S. Supreme Court decision involving Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which could influence Florida’s current congressional map. He anticipates the state would be obliged to rewrite its map once the verdict is issued.

DeSantis confirmed that a special session will occur and said he will coordinate with Senate President Albritton on scheduling, but it would likely be in the spring of 2026.

Meanwhile, back in September, House Speaker Danny Perez created a select committee to handle the redistricting process<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

The committee includes seven Republicans and three Democrats. Its first meeting is set for December 4. Florida’s current congressional map strongly favors Republicans, and any revisions would come ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Just in time to wipe out the mess Gavin Newsom made in California to wipe out GOP representation.

This court case might be a lot bigger than meets the eye, as it might shake up elections in the future after what just happened.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and four Republican-led states, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, and Ohio, have settled legal disputes about access to federal citizenship data.

In 2023, the states filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration, claiming that DHS had concealed information that they required to confirm the citizenship of specific registered voters.

Under the settlement, the states will be able to run bulk searches of thousands of voters through the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program using names, birthdates and Social Security numbers.

The settlement also allows the states to share driver’s license records with DHS to help update and modernize the SAVE database. DHS and the DOGE recently upgraded SAVE, making it free for election officials, expanding it to allow bulk searches, and enabling verification using common identifiers rather than DHS-issued numbers. The system will return initial citizenship verification results within 48 hours.

This could put an end to some of the voter fraud out there, which is huge for Republicans and probably bad for Democrats.

Voting rights groups have filed lawsuits<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g> challenging the expanded SAVE program, arguing it could lead to eligible voters being wrongly removed from voter rolls. This is just their stupid way of trying to protect their fraudulent voters, allegedly.

Trump’s DOJ already requested voter rolls from at least half of U.S. states, raising concerns from Democratic election officials about the potential sharing of that information with DHS.

Any Democrats who have concerns with this are simply lying. There is no reason the White House SHOULDN’T have this information. They should know that only American citizens are voting and other people are not somehow getting votes in.

Noncitizens are prohibited from voting in federal elections and violations can lead to felony charges and deportation. State reviews have found that noncitizen registration is rare and instances of noncitizens casting ballots are even rarer. Even if it’s rare, that could just mean people weren’t caught yet.

State and local agencies use SAVE to verify the immigration status of applicants for public benefits. As part of the settlement, the four states must sign a memorandum of understanding with DHS within 90 days and establish a new information-sharing agreement, which may entail sending 1,000 randomly selected driver’s license records from each state.

Pam Bondi and the DOJ are up the creek without a paddle and they better recover fast, because if James Comey and Letitia James walk free because of mistakes, then Bondi’s career is over.

A U.S. magistrate court concluded that there is evidence of misconduct in how a federal prosecutor affiliated with President Donald Trump won criminal charges against former FBI Director James Comey.

Magistrate Judge William Fitzpatrick ordered that grand jury materials be turned over to Comey’s defense team, calling the move an “extraordinary remedy” triggered by “unique circumstances” – aka the DOJ filed it wrong and screwed up big time.

Fitzpatrick found that Lindsey Halligan<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy issued a major warning to failed VP candidate Tim Walz and it’s no joke. Apparently one third of the non-domiciled CDLs were issued illegally in Walz’s state and that is a major problem!

Duffy said Minnesota has 30 days to come into compliance and revoke the illegally issued non-domiciled CDL’s or risk losing over $30 million in state funding. That would literally cripple the state, but oh well. Let them suffer! They shouldn’t be giving out driver licenses illegally. In fact, whomever handed out those illegally issued licenses should face criminal charges.

Duffy posted on X: “It just keeps getting worse for @GovTimWalz. Just one day after 400 BRAVE employees from @MinnesotaDHS exposed “massive fraud,” @USDOT has discovered that ONE THIRD of non-domiciled CDLs were issued ILLEGALLY in the state. MINNESOTA: You’re on notice. You have 30 days to fix this or lose $30 million in federal funding.”

Revoke and reissue all noncompliant non-domiciled CDLs if they comply with the federal requirements.

Sen. Mark Kelly knew what he was doing when he participated in the ‘Seditious Six’ video including him and five other Democrats. It seems like his TDS is getting in the way of any logical thinking and now he’s defending drug boats, which is just astronomically stupid.

Kelly also made an admission on the sedition video, saying that they “were looking forward to trying to head something off at the pass that could’ve been really, really bad.” If he’s talking about Trump giving illegal orders, then for the millionth time we must remind everyone that not one single illegal order was ever given.

Trump was within his rights as president or within the scope of the law and Democrats were trying to spark a level of confusion and distrust in the president, in hopes to spark some divide between him and the military. It failed because most Americans saw right through the Democrats allegedly scripted nonsense of a video.

And where are we now? Well, Trump supporters are calling for Mark Kelly to be investigated and busted on sedition charges.

And to distract everyone from sedition videos, Mark Kelly is busy throwing verbal jabs at the Trump administration and deflecting the sedition conversation over to Trump’s administration blowing up drug boats on the way to poison Americans. It’s like anything that needs logical thinking and common sense is out the window when it comes to Mark Kelly and the Democrats.

If you have any common sense at all, then you know blowing up a drug boat<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

Other than that, bombs away. We’re not going to sit here and act like we feel bad for blowing up drug boats. No. We. Are. Not.

What about all the people who are saved by the drugs never making it to America? Let’s think of the people the Trump administration is SAVING by blowing up drug boats.

Mark Kelly must be one of those criminal sympathizers now. What happened to him? Wasn’t he somewhat normal before? Has TDS destroyed Mark Kelly’s little brain?

President Donald Trump is cracking down on immigration like crazy right now. He’s not up there with Obama yet, considering Obama was nicknamed the ‘Deporter-In-Chief’ for how many people he kicked out of America, but Trump might be the only one who catches up!

Trump unleashed another furious rant against bad people from some rather uncivilized places and said the following to a handful of reporters: “Countries like Somalia, that have virtually no government, no military, all they do is go around killing each other, then they come into our country and tell us how to run our country. WE DON’T WANT THEM.”

What has Ilhan Omar done for America anyway? And now that people are finally looking into some of the crimes over in Minnesota, it seems like they have quite a problem with Somalians there. For example, the biggest Covid fraud scam was conducted by Somalians.

Karoline Leavitt exposed a major crime involving Somalians ripping off taxpayers for millions.

Ilhan Omar is allegedly accused of knowing, or participating in, a vote for pay scheme that OMG and James O’Keefe are digging into. Voter fraud is a huge problem here!!

A Somalian restaurant was busted scamming $12 million in federal child meal payments.

There are lots of other Somalians crimes in Minnesota, too much to start a list, but you can look them up on your own if you like.

And while you’re here, take a listen to Trump’s statement to the reporters. He’s done with the nonsense and really cracking down a lot harder this time as President.

Conservatives have been called conspiracy theorists for saying this out loud, but Stephen Miller just exposed the Democrat’s plan, specifically the Joe Biden administration, to import millions of illegals into America.

For whatever reason the Democrats wasted money on this, instead of helping Americans, that’s up for you all to decide.

The worst part of this all is that Trump has to waste time reversing the damage done by the Biden/Harris regime, otherwise their damages may not ever get repaired.

Stephen Miller came out swinging when he said this: “The Democrat Party, via the Biden-Harris Terrorist Administration devised a scheme to import illegal aliens into the country by the millions — granting them ‘parole,’ which gives them work permits, which gives them Social Security numbers, which gives them access to the voting booth — and finally hooking them on welfare like Hunter Biden hooked on drugs, all with the sole purpose of participating in U.S. elections and ultimately overthrowing the Constitutional Republic of the United States.”

When we tried to get a fact check on this, Grok said the following: “The Biden-Harris administration used parole programs to allow entry for certain migrants, enabling work authorization and SSNs for employment. However, non-citizens, including parolees, are ineligible to vote in federal elections—it’s illegal, with rare instances documented. No evidence from government data or fact-checks supports a scheme to import voters for elections. Sources: USCIS, PolitiFact, BBC, DHS.”

While the fact check says it’s technically illegal for them to vote, one must remember that there are still states that don’t require voter ID. Those states sometimes go by signature match, so if you can sign a paper like someone else, then you can literally vote for them without ever showing an ID.

This brings us back to the simple fact that anyone who says voter ID is a bad thing, is probably trying to cheat an election – or they support people who try to cheat elections.

Voter ID should be mandatory in every election, at every level, no matter how small it may seem.

America deserves to have the most secure elections imaginable.

California State Rep Carl DeMaio shows budget data that exposes Gavin Newsom for spending so much money on illegal immigrant healthcare, that it’s a massive strain on taxpayers, taking up a huge portion of the deficit. We’re not even talking millions here. It’s in the BILLIONS and it’s wasting taxpayer money like it’s nothing.

California spends an estimated $8.5 billion annually on healthcare for undocumented immigrants through the Medi-Cal program. This cost has exceeded initial projections, leading to budget shortfalls and recent proposals to freeze new enrollment and introduce cost-sharing for some enrollees.

The total cost has grown from an earlier projection of about $3 billion per year. The state’s Medi-Cal program for undocumented immigrants costs about $8.5 billion per year.

This spending is a contributing factor to the state’s budget deficit, which is estimated to be around $12 billion.

The actual costs have been higher than initially projected, which was estimated at $3 billion annually, due to factors like higher enrollment numbers and increased long-term care benefits.

State Borrowing: The state has had to borrow from its general fund to cover unexpected costs in the Medi-Cal program.

Proposed Changes: In response to budget constraints, Governor Gavin Newsom has proposed freezing enrollment for new immigrants and potentially introducing a monthly cost of $100 for some adult enrollees.

In January 2024, California expanded Medi-Cal to cover all income-eligible undocumented immigrants, regardless of age.

A previous expansion, which covered more than 1.1 million undocumented enrollees, cost the state approximately $1.6 billion annually.

The most recent expansion is projected to cost an additional $2.6 billion per year after an initial six-month cost of about $835 million.

California’s current budget deficit is projected to be around $18 billion for the 2026-27 fiscal year.

This is a multi-year issue, with previous years also facing significant shortfalls, such as a $12 billion deficit in 2025-26 and a much larger $68 billion deficit projected for the 2024-25 fiscal year due to a sharp revenue decline.

The current deficit is driven by factors including spending growth outpacing revenue, a decline in the prior year’s revenue, and increased costs from federal policy changes.

Key figures and contributing factors:

$18 billion: The projected deficit for 2026-27, according to the Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO).

$12 billion: The deficit the state addressed for 2025-26.

$68 billion: The estimated deficit for 2024-25, driven by a severe revenue decline in 2022-23.

Causes of the deficit:

Spending growth: State spending is growing faster than revenues.

Revenue decline: A significant drop in tax collections, particularly in 2022-23, has contributed to the shortfall.

Federal policy changes: New federal health and food assistance programs are increasing state costs.

Past budget assumptions: Earlier budget forecasts did not anticipate the extent of the revenue decline, and some “phantom money” was already spent.

In June 2023, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to censure him for promoting the idea, as House Intelligence Committee chair, that Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia—a claim later dismissed by federal investigations.

Republicans argue his actions fueled the costly Mueller probe that cost taxpayers $32 million.

Separately, Schiff is being investigated by federal prosecutors in Maryland for alleged mortgage fraud, with claims he listed two properties in different states as his primary residence to get better loan terms and tax breaks.

A Maryland grand jury is considering charges like wire fraud, mail fraud, and making false statements. Schiff denies wrongdoing, calling it a politically motivated “witch hunt,” while the Justice Department also reviews how the probe has been handled.

Anna Paulina-Luna enters into the record the $32 million Adam Schiff indirectly misappropriated:

Jasmine Crockett was confronted by MS NOW about her lies that Republicans took donations from Jeffrey Epstein (the wrong one).

Crockett gave an incoherent minute long response on what she did, suggesting that she didn’t have time to research the actual facts.

During a House floor debate and subsequent interviews, Representative Jasmine Crockett claimed that several Republican members, including EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, had received political donations from “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein.”

However, it quickly emerged that the donor in question was a different person entirely, a Long Island physician/neurosurgeon named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, not the notorious deceased sex offender.

She basically lied about a GOP member by saying he took donations from a man named Jeffrey Epstein. The Epstein she’s talking about is some random guy with the same name, not the deceased pervert. But Jasmine Crockett wanted to do something evil here and she should be held accountable for it.

That was a completely different man named Jeffrey Epstein, and Crockett knew this, but she pretended to be stupid and act like she had no idea. This only means Jasmine Crockett is actually dumber than we though, because no one fell for her trick. Not even liberal media fell for it.

And for Jasmine Crockett, she doesn’t really need to act. She’s just truly a stupid politician. One look at her massive fake eyelashes can tell you that. It makes her look like she’s got Forrest Whitaker eye.

When MS Now asked about her Epstein statements, Crockett said: “I did not have time to actually pull up and actually research.”

I’m sure she did the research and knew this was a different Jeffrey Epstein, but she wanted to paint a false narrative because she’s dishonest and does nothing helpful.

The Trump administration isn’t playing around anymore. Trump has ordered a temporary nationwide pause on all asylum decisions following the November 26 shooting of two National Guard soldiers in Washington, D.C.

The alleged gunman, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national who entered the U.S. under humanitarian parole in 2021 and was granted asylum in 2024, is accused of carrying out the “targeted ambush” that left one National Guard member dead and another in critical condition.

According to an internal directive obtained by CBS News, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has been instructed to stop issuing decisions on every pending asylum case. The pause applies to both affirmative asylum cases handled by USCIS and defensive asylum cases handled through the Department of Justice for individuals already in deportation proceedings.

The directive states that:

No asylum application can be approved, denied, or closed until further notice.

All scheduled decision-notification appointments have been canceled.

In-person asylum interviews may continue, but officers are barred from issuing a final determination.

The pause is indefinite and does not include a projected end date.

A senior USCIS official confirmed the authenticity of the internal memo, noting that the agency is undergoing new “screening and vetting procedures” following the D.C. attack.

The pause is part of a broader federal review of immigration screenings. Following the shooting, the administration announced that green-card applications and other immigration benefits for nationals from 19 “countries of concern” will undergo additional scrutiny. These include Afghanistan<g id="wpil-svg-outbound-1-icon-path" transform="matrix(0.046875,0,0,0.046875,0.0234375,0.02343964)">

</g>, Somalia, Yemen, Venezuela, and several Middle Eastern and African nations.

USCIS Director Joseph Edlow said the decision was made “out of an abundance of caution” and that the agency will re-evaluate security-screening systems tied to humanitarian parole and asylum vetting.

The shooting occurred near a Guard perimeter post in Washington, D.C., where two National Guard members were injured. Lakanwal was taken into custody shortly after the attack. Federal agencies, including the FBI, are investigating the incident.

The White House stated that the temporary halt on asylum decisions is intended to prevent security gaps while the administration reviews how individuals are screened before obtaining refugee or asylum protections.

USCIS has not indicated how long the pause will remain in effect. The Department of Homeland Security also has not said whether previously approved asylum cases will undergo additional review.

As the directive stands, tens of thousands of asylum applicants, including individuals in removal proceedings, will see their cases delayed until the review process is completed.
