President Joe Biden is being scorched on social media for comparing the loss of his son to the police officers killed in the line of duty. This took place at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service. Some people are saying Joe Biden is making this all about himself. Others are being empathetic to a man who lost a son and got stuck with Hunter Biden. All jokes aside, this isn’t something people should be freaking out about.
When it all comes down to it, this is probably just Joe Biden trying to relate to people who’ve lost a son, husband, brother, daughter, wife, friend, etc. I don’t see how this is a bad thing, because if it’s coming from Joe Biden personally, then it’s just natural for him to relate to other people who’ve lost someone.
If this was written for him and on a teleprompter, then that’s somewhat bad. Either way, we should make this about the people who’ve lost their lives in the line of duty. This is about them, not Joe Biden, not us, not anyone but the men and women lost in the line of duty. May God rest their souls and bring peace to their friends and family.
